What are THE ART LOCKER Markets?
Founded by Mielzy, THE ART LOCKER Markets are our way of organizing independent artists to create events that are fun for attendees and vendors alike. After all, another market in NYC is always a welcome thing!
When is your next market?
Our markets happen every 2-3 months. We will announce each market in our Discord server and our Instagram. Keep up with us there!
How do I apply to be a vendor?
When vendor applications are available, we will post them in our Discord server and our Instagram. They will be open for a specified time interval. To ensure equity in the selection process, we will not accept late applications.
Who can vend at THE ART LOCKER Markets?
We welcome makers of all kinds! We prioritize small artists and handmade businesses.
Who can't vend?
We do not allow reselling, vintage clothing, proxy selling, drop-shipping, genAI, stolen work, or anything else we deem inappropriate.
How much does it cost to vend at THE ART LOCKER Markets?
Vendor fee will vary based on the cost of the market. We aim to stay in the $50-$100 range per full 6ft table.
Are the markets free to attend?
Yes! We do not charge for entry.
Do I have to RSVP to attend?
While RSVP-ing is not required for attendees, RSVP-ing helps us gauge headcount. It also enters you into exclusive events, such as raffles or free merch opportunities!
Can I bring my pet to the market?
Due to space restrictions, we unfortunately cannot welcome pets at our markets yet.
Can I bring my child to the market?
Yes! However, please be mindful that we allow vendors to display artistic nudity in full and censored erotic nudity.
Are masks required?
Yes, we are a mask-mandatory event! We will also have masks available at the door should you forget yours. Here is a guide (click me!) for purchasing masks if helpful.
